1. Price:

This estimate/quotation price is valid for 30 days from the issue date.

2. Builders Works In Connection (BWIC):

This price does not include provision for BWIC. This includes, but is not limited to; fire/smoke stopping, acoustic sealing or testing, air tightness testing, ventilation tiles or fire dampers chasing, penetrations exceeding 32mm, trenching/backfilling, external ducts/draw pits, making good to finished surfaces or the removal of site rubbish.

3. Access:

The price assumes clear access will be provided to allow works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Scaffolding, portable towers and crane-age is to be provided where necessary at no cost to Williams Electrical (GB).

4. Temporary Power:

Unless specifically stated, the price does not include provision for temporary power or lighting works.

5. Site Survey:

A survey of the existing site conditions may or may not have been carried out. The basis of this price is built from this along with any technical drawings & specifications provided. Please contact us prior to ordering to discuss your installation.

6. Working Hours:

Unless specifically stated, this price is based on works being carried out during normal working hours between 08:00 and 17:00 Monday – Friday.

7. Access to Heights:

Access to working heights above 3.5m AFFL shall be provided where necessary at no cost to Williams Electrical (GB).

8. Payment Terms:

Upon successful project/stage completion, Williams Electrical (GB) is to receive the agreed amount quoted/invoiced including any additional extras, via one of the following options:

  1. Debit or credit card payment on the day of completion in full (charges may apply).
  2. BACS payment to Williams Electrical, using bank information provided within the invoice terms.

9. Additions to the Quotation:

  1. Any additions to the original quotation are to be raised on an additional works order.
  2. The terms here be applicable to any additional works ordered.
  3. Williams Electrical will only begin installation of the additions once the order is agreed.
  4. You may be invoiced separately/required to make a deposit for additional works depending on their scope, the terms in this document will still apply to the additional work ordered.

10. Company Property and Protection of Business:
Williams Electrical reserves the following rights in the interests of its business:

  1. To withhold any electrical/building notification certificates until full payment is received.
  2. To void any issued certificates with building control or NAPIT where payment is not received.
  3. To apply reasonable interest or late fees to any overdue invoices at it’s discretion.
  4. To request instalment payments or a deposit, depending on each project’s requirements.
  5. All materials remain property of Williams Electrical until paid for in full.
  6. The customer becomes responsible for materials once they are delivered. Williams Electrical will not be held responsible for any loss or damages thereafter.
  7. Williams Electrical retains ownership of all Intellectual Property and is exclusively for company use. Transfer of ownership can be arranged at request.

11. Cooling-Off Period:

  1. Your cooling-off period commences the day after the order for the work is placed.
  2. From this date you have a 14-day period if you wish to cancel and receive a full refund on any deposit paid, prior to work commencing.
  3. Please contact us directly to confirm your cancellation.
  4. If you have requested for works to commence inside the cooling-off period, you are accepting to waive your rights to the cooling-off period.
  5. After your 14 day period or once work has commenced; you may be liable for the following:
  6. A cancellation fee.
  7. Time and labour costs up until the time you cancelled.
  8. Any items installed or fitted.
  9. Any special order items at full cost.
  10. A restocking fee of any items that have been delivered but not installed.
  11. Any loss of profit caused by your cancellation (e.g. where Williams Electrical (GB) has set aside time to complete your work and is unable book another job for the same period).

13. Statutory Rights:

Terms and conditions of this agreement do not affect your statutory rights.

Acceptance Clause:

By agreeing to proceed, by placing the order and commencement of works, you confirm your understanding of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree with any of the above, please do not request Williams Electrical (GB) to commence work.
